Dr Tan Yia Swam will provide individualised, tailored and personable care. At the first visit, there will be a detailed interview & targeted examination. Dr Tan Yia Swam will review your previous scans and investigations (if any), before advising on the next step. If you have never had breast imaging before, Dr Tan Yia Swam and her staff will recommende the appropriate imaging for you, be it a mammogram, and/or an ultrasound, or both.

I am Dr Tan Yia Swam, a consultant in general surgery (with a special interest in breast). My dedicated all-female team is here to provide fast, reliable diagnosis, at your convenience.
Many of my patient see me for a breast complaint, but as we develop a doctor-patient relationship, I get a thorough medical and social history. The initial breast complaints may be symptoms of a more complex systemic problem. I believe in treating the root of the problem, and not just manage the symptoms. It takes patience, mutual trust and understanding to be able to resolve the health issues definitively.
