Consultation: What happens in the clinic?

Dr Tan Yia Swam will provide individualised and personable care. At the first visit, there will be a detailed interview. Targeted examination will be performed. She will do a risk assessment for breast cancer. Dr Tan Yia Swam will then recommend the relevant scans, followed by any additional tests.

How to prepare for your first visit with us:

  • Bring documents (photo-ID)

  • Bring any old reports (scans or referral letters)

  • Bring your list of questions

  • Be prepared for a physical examination and scans. Wear minimal accessories, no lotions or powders, comfortable clothing
